Think carefully before assembling your furniture.
Items cannot be returned if:
- Already assembled (fully or partially)
- Original packaging is damaged or missing
We recommend:
- Inspect all pieces immediately upon delivery for damage or defects
- Check that you received everything (refer to "What's Included")
- Verify the color matches your order
- Only then proceed with assembly
Once assembled, your only option is our Free Fabric Exchange if you want to change colors.
Keep all packaging until you're certain you're keeping the item.

Defective or Damaged Items
Upon Delivery
Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.
If your item arrives damaged or defective, you must notify us within 30 days of delivery.
To report an issue, email info@divandreams.com and include:
- Your order confirmation or invoice
- Item number and quantity affected
- A clear description of the issue
- Clear photos or videos showing:
- The defect or damage
- The product
- All packaging and shipping labels
Depending on the situation, we may offer a replacement, repair, or full refund at no additional cost.
⚠️ Important:
- All original packaging must be retained for inspection and claims.
- Reporting issues within 7 days ensures the fastest resolution, especially for shipping damage.
- We are not responsible for labor costs, installation costs, or delays caused by defective goods.
Issues Reported After 30 Days
Issues reported after 30 days of delivery may be difficult or impossible to resolve due to manufacturer limitations. Some defects may be covered under the manufacturer's warranty—contact us for assistance.
Incomplete Orders or Missing Parts
We recommend checking your order within 48 hours of delivery.
If an item or part is missing, notify us within 30 days with:
- Order confirmation
- Item or part number(s)
- Photos or videos of all received packages and contents
(Some items ship separately.)
Reporting within 7 days ensures the fastest resolution.

Return Window
You may request a return within 30 days of delivery.
Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, items must be:
- Unused
- Unassembled (fully or partially assembled items are not eligible)
- In original, undamaged packaging
- In resalable condition with all parts included
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Custom-made or made-to-order products
- Fully or partially assembled items
- Items missing original packaging
- Clearance or final-sale items
- Items damaged due to customer use, assembly attempts, or improper handling
Return Shipping & Fees
- Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility (typically $100-250 for furniture, depending on size and location) unless the item is defective or damaged upon arrival.
- For defective items, we provide a prepaid return label at no cost to you.
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
- Returns that arrive damaged, incomplete, or without original packaging may be:
- Subject to a partial refund, or
- Subject to a restocking fee of up to 25%
Unauthorized returns (sent without approval) will be rejected and are not eligible for a refund.
30-Day Free Fabric Exchange
Don't love the color? We've got you covered.
- Exchange your fabric covers for a different color within 30 days of delivery—completely free
- You only pay return shipping for the covers (typically $30-50)
- Much more affordable than returning the entire sofa
- Limited to one exchange per order
- Covers must be unused and in original packaging
How to Request a Fabric Exchange:
1. Email info@divandreams.com with:
- Order ID
- Current color
- Desired new color
2. We'll send you the new covers
3. Return the original covers using our prepaid label (shipping cost deducted from any applicable refund or charged separately)
How to Start a Return

- Include:

- Photos/videos of the item and packaging
We will review your request and provide return instructions if approved.
⚠️ Returns cannot be dropped off at our warehouse.
Refunds
- Returned items are inspected upon receipt
- Inspection and processing may take up to 7 business days
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Original shipping fees are non-refundable (only the product price is refunded)
- Return shipping costs are deducted from refund if we provided a prepaid label
- Please allow up to 5 business days after approval for funds to appear, depending on your bank
Order Cancellations
- Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of placement if they have not yet shipped
- Once shipped, orders cannot be canceled and must follow the return process
- Custom-made orders cannot be canceled after placement
Shipping Damage
Visible Damage on Delivery
If a package arrives visibly damaged:
- Refuse the delivery and note the damage with the carrier, or
- If accepted, document the damage immediately and contact us within 30 days (within 7 days recommended for fastest resolution)
Concealed Damage
If damage is discovered after opening:
- Report it within 30 days (within 7 days recommended for carrier claims)
- Do not discard packaging, as it may be required for claims
Wrong Item Received
If you received the wrong product:
- Contact us within 30 days
- Provide your order confirmation and photos of the incorrect item
The item must be returned in original packaging. We will cover return shipping and offer an exchange or full refund.
Important Notes
- Installation or assembly services are non-refundable
- We do not reimburse third-party repair or handyman services
- Keep all original packaging until you are certain you are keeping the item
